Monkey Pirate Zombie

Another new Movie Monkey for you, this time from a more up to date film. And also a film that hasn't even come out yet. Wallpaper versions etc coming soon.

Kicking off 2012 will be a new range of Movie Monkeys. First is one from one of my favourite movies of all time. If you can recognise it, that makes you awesome.

Christmas is coming, apparently. Who knew? There is still time for you to give the gift of Monkey pirate Zombie, by buying some swag from our store. And so I return! My computer-related woes turned out to be more complicated (and more wallet-bashingly expensive) than anticipated, which is why I've been gone so long. But crucially my files survived intact so I was able to finish the animation I was working on when my computer went boom. It is the first in a new series. I already have Trailerama for movie based hijinx, but now I am starting a Video Game humour based series, and I'm calling it Arcade Perfect. The first episode deals with the classic video game Metal Gear Solid, and features some fantastic voice acting from returning stars, Lee Tsuruneru and Annabelle Bay

OK folks, so about now I should be publishing a new animation (the first in a new series no less!), however it's going to be delayed, by the apparent death of my faithful computer. (A moments silence please... blub!) My latest work was hours from completion when the machine stopped working. Fortunately I recently did a back up so I haven't lost the whole thing, but it remains to be seen how much work has actually been lost. I hope to get back up and running ASAP, but there will be a delay in the meantime. Please stand by...

Great news for you today: it's only a frickin' brand new animation. Although based on an old animation I did a few years back, this is actually completely new stuff. I  present for your approval: Pickles The Clown:

This animation features marvelous music by an awesome and lovely young lady who goes by the name of Blue (UK readers note: she is nothing to do with the crappy British Boyband of the same name). She writes thoroughly ace music about awesomely geeky things on her equally top notch website Hello, The Future. You should check it out. While your at it you can check out the album Mink Car Cover, a project featuring 19 talented artists (including Blue, who also put together the project) that is being sold to mark the tenth anniversary of 9/11 and raise monkey for the NYFD (new York Fire Dept.) A worthy cause indeed!

Following on from last week's three pics, here is the final picture I produced for my family 'birthday season'. It's pretty simple, but then it is for a four year old. Click to see it bigger. What's three times better than a stuff and nonsense update? Three updates in one that's what. Thanks to the annual occurrence of three family birthdays within seven days, I have created three completley new pieces of artwork, that I'll share with you today. OK, So yeah I more or less just took a month off. Sorry. It wasn't preplanned but sometimes that's just the way things work out. but I wanted to check in to tell you that not only am I alive, things are happening, and an animation is in the pipeline. That is a fact. While I'm here I bring you a new silly photoshop creation. a little something I put together for my father's day card for this year. See you with more stuff in July!
